Resident Doctor in General Medicine at Gnesta Health Centre

Gnesta Health Centre is a well-functioning and stable primary care centre with approximately 9,000 registered patients. We are conveniently located near both commuter trains and regional trains. Our primary care services include a doctor's clinic, nurse's clinic, family centre, laboratory, dietitian, foot care specialist, counselling team, and rehabilitation team.

Your Responsibilities

Your duties include daily clinic work where you meet, assess, investigate, and treat patients in collaboration with other professional categories. As a resident doctor with us, you are offered the best conditions to grow in the role of a general practitioner.

You will be met by secure and experienced supervisors with many years of experience both as general practitioners and as supervisors. We have regular collegial meetings and are close to each other for advice and support in daily life. You have great opportunities to influence the arrangement of working hours and schedules.

Education and Development

Doing residency in Sörmland means you have recurring meetings, seminars, and education together with other resident doctors in general medicine. You receive good support from the study director and help with the planning of your side appointments. With us, you are given the opportunity to influence your own education and deepen your knowledge in different special areas, as well as scheduled supervision time every week with your supervisor.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician and want to do your residency in general medicine. You have a genuine patient focus, a professional and empathetic approach, and the ability to prioritize in everyday life. Teamwork skills are important, and we place great emphasis on personal suitability. Good knowledge of Swedish and English is required.
